Hi All,
Well after some previous threads on what I should be doing with my Hunter and the advice I recieved I have made the following changes:
Changed my Talents to a good old 41 20 0 as per sticky for BM.
I have got a nice new max level and loyalty Black Raptor.
I have maxed out LW and grinded the mats to create, and now wear, Lightning Reflex Shoulders and Netherdrake Helm, I have also purchased some Vindicator Chain Bracers. I have all the Recipes for some Ebon Scale Armour that is going to require some good grinding sessions for mats!!!
I have replaced all my gem slots with Agility and Attack Power, except Meta Gem slot, got to earn some serious Gold for that one!!

So I am now looking for further advice. I know about the crappy enchants on my weapons. I also know the need for me to get better rings and trinkets but that is just a matter of time and gold and getting invites to instances.
The last thing to ask is this. Despite all these changes I am still only blasting out an average 450 shot damage each time and the crit never exceeds 2500 so far with my gun. Melee I seem to hit around 350 all the time and crit no more than 950. How can I get this up further???
Your help, guys and girls, as always is much appreciated.

We finally got a solid 10-man group for raiding.
I’ve been gearing up mostly through heroics, BOE’s and rep rewards.
But i can’t seem to get past 2,4k dps on raids, except on Loatheb (the one with the +50crit) I had 3,7k
I’ve currently got 216 hit rating, with +hit buff food, i can reach hit cap so i’m going to put points from FA (3/3) into something else
I also have two points in unleashed fury (don’t even recall why lol), so in all, I have 5 points to spend.
Should I put 3 into imp steady shot and two in wild quiver?
Or 3 imp steady shot and two more in efficiency?
So I will go from a 13/51/7 to a 11/53/7
Or should I just go on and wait for the new patch?
I’m also marks because that’s the build I’m most comfortable with,plus, we already have two SV hunters in our group.
My shot rotation is something like aimed, arcane, steady steady..

Q: Where do paladins fit into the larger scope of things currently and where do you see them going from this point forward?

A: The paladin is an iconic class from fantasy role-playing, and one which Warcraft has been able to put its own stamp all over. Obviously they figure prominently in the lore, up to and including the Lich King himself.
The paladin started out as a defensive buffing class. Early on, buffs were pretty much the entire reason you’d want to group with a paladin. (And if you want to put a fine point on it, it took about all of the paladin’s attention to keep those buffs up).
End-game paladins in vanilla World of Warcraft were pretty much healers, which was disappointing for some players to discover once they reached level 60. As most of our readers probably already know, the paladin class was exclusive to the Alliance. We realized that we kept pushing the paladin and shaman abilities closer and closer together to solve faction imbalance issues, and that process was hurting the classes, so we’d be better off just having paladins and shamans on both sides. In Burning Crusade, paladins gained the ability to tank and could do so quite well in some situations, but were still positioned more in an off-tank role. In Wrath of the Lich King, we finally embraced all three specs of paladins: Protection paladins can tank anything. Retribution paladins are a legitimate dps spec in both PvE and PvP. And of course, paladins could still heal.
Q: What is it that makes them unique compared to all other classes?
A: Despite our design changes to share buffs around among more classes, we still kept several abilities unique to the paladin in order to keep a hint of their original role. Thus paladins have everything from their powerful Blessings to their bubbles like Divine Shield, the ability to dispel multiple kinds of debuffs, and utility abilities like Blessing of Freedom or Hammer of Justice. Paladins can wear plate armor in all three roles, which is particularly powerful for a healer. Finally, the Seal and Judgement system is a unique mechanic that works like no other class.

I have cedently tanked SP before. The warriorouldn’t hold aggro as he was 61 and with all the mobs pounding on him I healed so mh that I had more threat than he did. It was rather amusing. Earth Shield FTW!
ya…. from to St i was a tank, my gear fell behind after that, and at 60 I worked on my gear and managed to tank all the level 60 instaes eept UBRS in stam gear. holo was my favorite, but tanking the new outlands instaes is a bit tougher, although after dinging 70 I have gone bk well over geared and tanked just about every outlands instae non hero iluding SH was a blast. are we tanks? no, is it possible, with gear sure, is it rommended, no, is it fun, sure if you like messing around =P at lower levels tanking is also very simple for a shaman as long as you have enough dps, I will also say if thats what your not interested in doing then don’t, if you want to heal just heal and tell the druid to stop being a girl. Yes you were right (unfortunately) the mro doesnt move onto theast sequee if the initialast fails. Im notonvied itant be done tho. i still think there is a lot of undiovered uses of mros, i dont think blizz has mros lked down so mh, if they took sh a hard stae they would be anti addons, blizz pride themselves on providing game aspts people dont know about and have to diover.

To be perftly honest, I would go near a raid with Shadowstep. It might beonvenient for fights like Gruul and Prie, but you’ll put out mh more damage with aookieutter 19420 build, or even a 16450 mesword build. As for PvP, sie you don’t have any weapon sp talents in 20041, use the weapons with the highest stam and dps. I’d rommend mes, if only bause the haste pr on Dragonmaw will absolutely wrk people.

Level Two – Three
Complete a few quests, kill a few beasts, and just as you’re getting warmed up, you’ll reach level 2. Go and find your class trainer, where you will learn your next class ability, Mark of the Wild.
At level 2, Mark of the Wild gives you or any friendly target you cast it on +25 Armor for 30 minutes. This is your first ‘Druid buff’. You should make it a habit to always have Mark of the Wild cast on yourself, and whenever you group with anyone cast it on them as well. Very friendly Druids cast MotW on folks all the time, because at each higher rank it gains more power, and it is highly beneficial to all classes.
Your Mark of the Wild gives you a bit more armor, but your combat routine remains unchanged. Continue your questing, getting used to maneuvering to extreme casting range, blasting with Wrath and getting used to your mana regeneration rates.

***Just an opinion below, bkup up with arguments. If youannot handle opinions, please sk this.*** Nothing is more fun than a 10 twink vs 10 twink BG these days. And believe me, the % of twinks is almost always >50%, both sides. Twinking is no longer the uberness it used to be when you were the only one. You are not. You will get your a$$ handed to you several times per BG, even with the best gear at 29 (I do not play 19, simply bause there are too fewlasses that justify twinking). The thing is the following (I will use myself as an example). I have 2 level 70s and 2 level 61 and 63 resptively, all build up at a VERY slow pe sie I do not have a lot of time to play (having twin kids is lovely!). When I play arena I usually play with my real life brother who happens to play a LOT and is geared in lovely purpleness. Most weeks I do not even reh my 10 arena games so my gear is lking. Moreso my gear is lkingompared to raiders, simple reason: no time. Now the lower BGs is a different story. There is a “best gear” set for everylass that youan obtain. Another twink will have extly the same, so no gear differees. NO gear differees. At 29 alllasses get _some_ tools, be it faster speed (druid), vanish (rogues), blinkFN (mages) and so on. But you lk a lot of the high end tools too. Yes youan say it is “easier” bause you do not have to use all 40 abilities at oe. True there. But meanwhile it is “harder” bause you have to oveome your enemies with the little powers you have. It isalled ahallenge, where gear no longer plays a part. It is fair when twinks meet twinks. And these days, that is more often thease than not. Try it out and you will find that if you meet other twinks, they DO know how to play too and you too will get your a$$ handed to you several times. Well I am at a delima here. I have myself a 46 lk almost 47 and I find myself not enjoying the easyness of thelass. Plus for me looking at a huge hit is really ne. I am going for theovented SLSL sp and I really like the benefits that it has to offer. However I love wahing a hugehunkome missing out of a person’s health bar. I want to do the arena and bgs but I am kinda stk on what I want to play. I have played alot oflasses and enjoy theonsume the life of an opponent thing that a lk offers but lets be real dropping half a guys health in one or two swings is great. So should I roll with a warrior, rogue, mage, hunter, or druid. Bause as far as I know those are the best big hitters in the game minus a destro lk, but most of the time they get eaten alive in bgs and arena. At least my friend does. I always thought a pally would beool to play but I have never really tried to go too deep into them. So what say you boys and girls, tell me what would work in myiumstaes.

Well first off, the whole point of the slsl sp is to be 70 (at least 61 to have both shon life and soul link) and have amazing survivability. Youhose the wrong sp if you were looking for hard hitting or even dps. As for hard hittinglasses for PvP, warriors and rogues are goodhoes. Most mages sp e for PvP and you won’t see as big of numbers as MS wars and rogues. Druids are always going to be behind rogues in terms of DPS. As for hunters, thelass is hard to play top end arena but theyan do some pretty ne dps if theyrit there multi and steady off the bat. What I do in situations where Ian’t use whirlwind is make sure the mob is debuffed. Demo Shoutsunderhamstring when BT is onooldown may not seem like the best thing to do but it helps out the group alot more then the maybe 40dps you would get from WW. This may not totally be the answer that you are looking for, but if it benifits the whole group I don’t mind taking the bkseat on DPS for some utility. From my experiees, the things you do other then just put up big DPS gets you the invite bk for more instaes. Inteepting aaster to interrupt aast or tabbing off to pummel one of those meanerasters (like in hero bot will make the healer’s job alot easier. Tanking positioning reallyomes to the flavor of the tank, but in all fairness to the dps it isn’t that hard to position most mobs. If you ask for the tank to move the mob 5 feet so he is not in way of sheep isn’t very diffult, but sie you aren’t tanking sometimes you have to deal with what’s dealt. Merryhristmas~~ if ian’t keep WW ond, i will debuff the mob fully with demo shoutsunderhamstringmaybe lap. the odd thing is that sometimes i am able to lap and not breakc, but WW and breakc. maybe i’m just a poor judge of distae. i don’t think the dps from WW is at all trivial, espially when used against the maximum four targets. my WW dpsomes out to maybe 60 dps on a single mob, assuming that on the low end of the damage ale and norits (assuming 9% hit, so no misses. assuming no dodges, parries or blks) i will get 400 damage from MH hits and 200 from OH hits, 400+200 = 600 damage * 6 untalented WWles per minute 60 sonds = 60 dps. on a max four targets, that’s 2400 damage per WW and 240 dps. if my math isorrt and i’m not totally off my rker, that’s very signifant. also, unlike a hunter’s multishotvolley or a mage’s AEblizzard, our WW is part of our bread and butter dps rotation. additionally, i’m the only dps warrior in the guild, and some of my supportersadvates are looking for big numbers to prove that warriorsan also dps well in 5mans and raids. so, this is kind of a big deal for me…
